Welcome to my virtual castle!

My name is Georg Holzer and as Head of QA I'm currently working in the Quality Assurance department of Austria's leading game development studio Sproing (Vienna). Sproing develops games for PC, all currently important consoles (Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3, Microsoft XBox, Nintendo DS/3DS) and online games (Free to Play Browser Games).

Next to my work in the field of Quality Assurance this site will also provide a short overview of my other fields of interest - history and  webdesign. Since my studies at the University of Graz where the specialization in the field of historical computing allowed me to combine my historical and computing skills both fields of interest have become part of my life.

As this website is designed to be an ongoing project it will never reach a "finally done" state. Thus feel free to stop by from time to time to see latest updates.
